Meditation for Stress Relief
Basic meditation techniques to relieve stress and tension
This course is designed to introduce meditation in an easy to follow way using guided visualization. The meditations in this course are those that I used to help get me through difficult periods of my life when stress was a big part of my daily life. You will receive an introduction and explanation of why I chose to teach meditation for a living as well as a how to section which describes how to get started with the techniques of meditation. I also include two warm up meditations and four main meditations which give about 23 minutes in total of actual meditation practice. You can also choose just one meditation at a time if you only have a few minutes to practice during the day.
The meditations in this class are great for anyone from beginners to advanced meditators. I have been practicing and teaching these specific meditations for the past twelve years successfully to reduce to stress, anxiety, and tension. The visualizations help to work old stuck energy out of the body, bring new energy into the body, and balance that energy to create clarity and peace of mind. They are easy to follow and can often have immediate results including feeling more relaxed and balanced. Although there are thousands of meditations out there, I have been using only a handful that I learned years ago because they have proven effective, easy to remember and practice anywhere.

Hello! I have been learning, practicing and teaching meditation for about 12 years and also run a small holistic health business. I am also a Certified Massage Therapist, Certified Reflexologist, Certified Reiki Master/Teacher, and Qigong Instructor. My own health issues related to stress are what brought me to this amazing work and I am so happy to be able to help others relax, heal, and change their lives in a way that promotes stress free living.
